SUNDAY, JULY 28
Last day for a voter to register to vote in the Scottsboro municipal election.
To register, you may click the link below to register online, or visit the Jackson County Board of Registrar's office at the Jackson County Courthouse.
Political Forum - All Scottsboro Municipal Candidates will be invited to participate in a political forum. Located in the Scottsboro High School auditorium at 6pm. Presented by The Clarion and WWIC.
THURSDAY, August 22
Last day for a voter to apply in person for an absentee ballot. (If applying by mail, you must apply by Tuesday, August 20.) Apply in person by visiting Scottsboro City Hall or for more info please call the City Clerk at 256-912-0502.
Last day for a voter can return an absentee ballot by personally hand-delivering it to the City Clerk by 4:30pm. Absentee ballots returned by mail, must be postmarked by August 26 and received noon on August 27.
Tuesday, August 27
ELECTION DAY! All registered voters may visit the Scottsboro Rec-Com to vote. Polls will be open from 7am-7pm. The Rec-Com is located at 701 S. Houston St.
