My name is Paul White and I am announcing my candidacy for Scottsboro City Council Place 1, because every citizen deserves the best quality of life in a beautiful city.
I have been living in the City of Scottsboro for the past 12 years and in Jackson County for 32 years. I am married to Misty White. I am currently employed at Gulley Construction and Septic Service, and I have small business with multiple rental properties throughout Jackson County.
In the past I have been a long-haul truck driver for over 20 years. I have also worked in construction, manufacturing and warehouse.
I am not a politician, and I will not try to be one. What I am is a hard-working citizen that sees that enough has not been done for our city and will push to get it done.
I would like to see more housing, retail and service choices while preserving our city heritage. I would like to clean up the city of dilapidated, distressed and run down properties.
I am eager for the opportunity to work with other city officials. I would appreciate your vote
